Below is a summary of how to register and then vote in the May 6, 2025 Brookline election. The most complete and up-to-date information is available from the Town Clerk’s office.
Register to Vote
You must register to vote no later than April 26th to vote in the May 6th election.
Registration is available online, by mail, or by visiting the Town Clerk’s office.

How to Vote
Voting is available early, by mail, or on Election Day.
Early Voting
In-person early voting starts April 26th and ends May 2nd at 12:30 p.m. The list of early voting locations has not yet been posted by the Town Clerk.
Voting By Mail
To receive a mail-in ballot, you must deliver a completed Vote By Mail application to the Town Clerk or submit a Vote By Mail application online no later than April 29, 2025.
You must submit your mail-in ballot so that the Town Clerk receives it no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Voting On Election Day
Election Day is May 6, 2025. Polls are open between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. To vote, you must be in line before polls close at 8 p.m.
